emerald ecu

first off
appologies if I should have tagged this to my previous post (20/01/120)
Having slept on the idea of a non finished project due to my lack of ability with the electrics can some one please put in laymans terms what would be needed to get my locost running with an emerald ecu.
I would like to see the set up in a similar vehicle.Or even some one to get it running for me if I were to purchase one
The locost is a standard engine 1.8k series with a 56mm tb and a modded inlet from an older vvc
I never thought how difficult it would turn out to be.

Have a look at David Walkers( from Emerald) book on engine management, although I believe an Emerald ECU will plug straight onto the wiring plug from a Rover/MG. Full instructions are very clear if you need to rewire , just take one circuit at a time , and it's dead easy to get running and tweak before getting it getting it set up on a rolling road. Dave Walker is very helpful and normally just a phone call away although he does get very busy. As Said , put your location in your profile, someone close may be able to help

I have a brand new emerald ECU (the latest version) I purchased from Dave walker 3 months ago, yours for £600 with optional MAP sensor, I was going to stick it on my Aston Martin but have found someone who can remap the Zytech ECU on this car so no-longer required.

Cost nearly £800 with the VAT, I did start making up the loom connector so if a direct plug in this will not affect you if not then just a new set of pins required as they pop out, yours posted for £600.

Regards Mark
