anyone have a zx9r c1 wireing diagram
as above im after a kawasaki zx9r c1 wireing diagram, as 1 of the previous owners have made a rite mess of things behind the dash to the savage
switches. they have basicaly introduced a stereo connector to attach the dash to the loom. so theres that many different colour wires on 1 line is
unreal . the car was registered in 2008 and i have just rebuilt it as it was a bit of a state

Hi mate
the C and later E have different plug connectors and are a slightly different shape, quickest way is look on the fleabay for pictures. If
you're still in doubt I think I may have a C2 and an E somewhere - could check numbers for you

an easy way to differentiate c and e motors is the number of bolts securing the timing rotor cover.

If it is a C it will have 1 white wire coming from the rectifier if it is an E the it will have 2 white wires, there is also a camshaft sensor on a C
which is the red/white and red/black from the ECU.
I have a complete C engine in the shed if you need anything just ask I may have it.

well pairing my ecu up on ebay i'd definately say its a( c) series and as the engine number has c1 in it i would of thought the engine is a c1.
but i have to white wires from rectifier which suggest (e) series and my clocks suggest its a e the car runs etc but i have 5 savage switches :rear
fog/side lights/ head lights/ hazzards/push start. it all works at the min apart from the hazards but none of the switchs illuminate. as as you
can gather the wireing is all over the place

You can mix and match some parts from the C and E bikes, rectifier included.
Do you have a camshaft sensor? if so it's a C engine.
