Volvo Part needed

Hi,
Friend has a 2001 C70 Convertable with an ETS problem
ETS = Electronic Throttle System
After a You Tube search he has done the first stage of problem solving and thought it was solved, however at the weekend the unit seems to have failed completely.
New unit is circa 400 quid.
Apparently you can remove it - several hours work and have it reconditioned for 150.

Anyone know of a secondhand parts supplier?
I seem to remember seeing a breakers on the A1 northbound around St Neots/Huntingdon area ????

Cheers

there is a major breaker on the A1/A428, as you describe, however I have not had a good experience with this gent.

it went something like this:
"how much?"

"No problem mate, it'll be a good price, just pick one in the yard and remove it"

2 hours and greasy fingers later, I am expecting circa £20,

"right that'll be £85 +vat"

Needless to say there was a heated discussion which ended with him having the part, and me keeping my money.

Perhaps it was my fault, but I still feel annoyed over his attitude.

hope you have more luck,.. otherwise there are some very good online breakers,...

ps most of his stock is older 340/240/v70
