electric waterpump help please

am getting to the stage where i need to sort the plumbing out,oil and fuel lines sorted,engine in etc. but i have come across a slight problem. what controls the electric waterpump on my dry sumped busa? and when should it run? cheers

It should be wired to run all of the time the engine is running (as the mechanical pump it is replacing would have done).

You can also keep running them after the ignition is off either timed, or until the water cools down. The ideas being that won't risk hot-spots after you switch off. Probably only worth it if you're running a water cooled turbo.
