Quieter option for the Facet pump
Hi Guys,
I am amazed by the 'volume' of my facet low pressure pump.
Is there a suitable alternative which won't sound like someone has a pneumatic drill running in the back of my car?
Regards,
Andy

Is it bolted straight to the chassis or on rubber mounts? Rubber can reduce the noise some what

well it is going to the chassis, i did try rubber/foam to try to reduce the noise, but nothing as substantial as that.

I'm running one of Mgb Electronic Fuel Pump Azx1307z New Boxed Item With Fittings on my E Type, 250bhp 4.2L, ran one
on the mgb before. Its quiet, and an interrupter, so cuts out when up to pressure.

Try mounting using WELL NUTS.

You ideally want the rubber bobbins sold for fitting LPG injector rails, they are very soft with M6 threads designed to dampen a very similar
problem.
