ETB Speedometer not working

Hello,

my tiger kit car has an ETB electronic speedometer.
It was working correctly.

Since a few days , i noticed that sometimes the needle was not moving.
i had to knock the glass and it started again correctly.

today as the weather was good, i went to my local MOT station( i am in Belgium) because i need to re-register.
So , when testing the car, they noticed that the digital display that shows the distance was not working.

So, what can i do ?
is there something i can check by myself ?

I sent an e-mail to ETB but i suppose that i will need a few days to get an answer ?

The ETB are prone to damp, if they have been in a cold damp garage etc, a well know trick that has been known to work is, to remove it and put in a warm place for a couple of days, a boiler cupboard is ideal.

I have the same problem on mine, the lcd display stops working.

It does dry out and then works, then fails again!

annoying.

I ended up using my phone as a GPS speedo / odometer when it was going wrong.
