Vicki green loom help
Hi there, after a long sabbatical I'm trying to get the project finished. It's a gts locost running a 1600 crossflow engine. I have a
vicki green wiring loom which was unfortunately with the car when I bought it as an unfinished project.
The diagram is shocking to say the least. The wiring at the near side of the engine bay has a white/black and a white wire which on the diagram says
"these are the important 2 wires that are used to connect up the various ignition systems"?!?!?!?
Anyone able to shed any light?
My dad is a time served mechanic and my father in law an electrician (both did auto electrics back in the day) and neither of them can make head nor
tail.
Any help appreciated
Kenny

If they have used the old Lucas wiring colours then,
White is ignition live to the coil + and
White / black is coil - to tachometer.

That's great we'll try that. No wonder they don't make these looms any more

Can't help specifically, but I used a VG loom on my Pinto engined Indy and found it to work well and be pretty easy to fit.
