Mechanical Speedo

As part of the gearbox modifications on my car I have lost the drive for the speedo ( different tailhousing without take off on it ). I want to keep the orignal speedo as it is already mounted in the dash. Does anyone know of a way in which I can keep the original speedo but use an electronic pickup to power some sort of drive for the speedo ?

Cheers

Andy...

Doesn't seem likely to me.

An electronic speedo is a good investment. I have changed my diff ratios and to recalibrate the speedo is a matter of a couple of minutes pressing a button.

A mechanical speedo would have had to go back to the factory for a reclibration.
