headlight aim
I am about to set the aim on my headlights but don't know what to set it to. They have to point down. How much?
Do they have to point to the left or forwards (and dip to the left?)

Having just failed on this I would suggest having them set up properly.....just before the test.
The examiner let me alter mine using the test equipment (but still failed me) and there didn't seem to be much room for error.
I tried the point it at the ground trick and it didn't work.

Use your day car...
mark centre of car on ground
stand your car headlights 20ft back - project headlights onto a garage or wall
Copy this using your 7 headlights... our's passed SVA no problem.
