Hello

just starting wire up my engine bay, hope someone can help

2.0 pinto with points based dizzy and non ballast coil, I have a thin fly lead which comes from the dizzy, should it go to the +'ve or -'ve

Lead should go to the coil neg - terminal Pos feed via ignition switch to the +terminal

Also need a lead from neg terminal of dizzyto the rev counter if you have one.

usually the coil has a double male spades on each terminal; your rpm counter would got there (electrically the same but physically different).

If you don;t have the doulbe spade, either make one from copper tube or buy them from VWP - cheap as chips but for the postage.

Whoops. Meant coil not dizzy although it is two ends of the same wire but had a brain hiccup.
