starter wiring
hello again
starter motor this time, 2.0 pinto using vicki green loom
I get the three large brown wires terminating in one eyelet connector goes on the large stud connection but the wiring diagram says the red and white
wire with a spade connection connects to a male spade on the solenoid and i only have 2 smaller threded studs
one is nearer the engine level with the large stud and the other is at the bottom centrally with a small earth lead connected to it
should i connect it to the small stud that at the mo has no connections?
thanks

Sounds like you most probably will have to cut off the spade and crimp on an eyelet. If your ever in doubt about connecting any wire then do it
through a fuse. That way if your instincts are wrong it'll only cost you a fuse.
All info in good faith etc but don't blame me if its wrong.

Doesn't a solenoid need three connections? A +'ve in, a +ve out and a switch connection? They are normally two big posts/connections and a
little spade in the middle for the switch wire.

I'm reading it as a pre engaged jobbie and the braided wire from the solenoid to the starter motor is not mentioned.
