URGENT FORD SIDELIGHTS HELP
Not sure if anyonbe can help me here as it could b a simple problem. But my missus owns a ford puma (pretty much the same build as the KA and
Fiesta).
The sidelight dont work, all of them, the number plate lights or the dash illumination. ALL fusses are fine, ive also swapped over as many relays i
can find with exact same ones also in the car.
Whats confused me is this; The 'lights' on warning buzzer that sounds when the lights are on and the ignition switch is removed and the
door is open doesant work until i remove BOTH side light fuses /(which are fine)???? can i assume its the switch? im going to bridge the multi plug on
the switch at the w/e but she cant really use it for work which is a problem.
Anyone?
Sorry about my spelling, im an engineer and only work in numbers.

Light switches always used to be crap on Fords, I've fitted quite a few but we dont get too many modern cars in so I'm not so sure about
yours.
The last one I did was on a P reg Transit & it had burnt the contact between the switch & harness plug.
