ETB Digidash Lite gets even better
This is a very interesting development from ETB for the DD2 lite. This now makes this unit an even more competitive dash display. I was looking
through the Demon Tweeks catalogue and have noticed ETB now do a GPS module for tracking speed cameras etc. The details were a bit sketchy so i called
ETB to confirm. They basically told me (and i quote) -
"it now comes with GPS Gatso database built in and the GPS also does GPS lap and split timing built in. GPS connects to serial port. Tells you
what type of camera is approaching, the speed limit and the distance count down.
Database is upgradeble.
The latest database shipping included with the unit has 12000 Gatso, mobile, redlight, truvello and specs locations built in."
From the sounds of it if you buy the lite with trackday timing option the GPS module will also provide the track timing function for you as well (no
seperate track beacon needed i believe).

I just need to convince them to make this an upgradeable feature on the Pro unit now.
You never know - they may be up for discussing a group buy on this to launch it.

Yeah, it does read like that but i have no connection at all other than being an extremely happy customer with a DD2 pro.
John at ETB has helped me out a lot with the install and new magnets and he uses a pic of my car in his adverts.
Being such a happy customer i have no hesitation in recommending there products and shouting about them when ever i can.

ETB have confirmed the new Pro has the GPS function built in as per lite.
