won`t stop
I have fitted bike carbs and bike pump
today zx6 . the pump runs continually
while the the ignition is on ,i would have thought it would stop when the
chambers were full. can anybody advise please

Are you saying it runs all the time even when the car isn't running? Sounds strange.... It should run until the pressure is sufficient then cut
off....
Is the pump for the carb'd model? Is there fuel hosing out of the carbs? Where's it going?!?!

The pump should stop when it senses a certain pressure in the fuel line. If not it will keep going, as yours is. How long have you had it running for?
It may take a good few secs to re-fill the lines and the float chambers. If it doesn't stop at all, check for leaks in the line and for flooding
at the carbs, then take the necessary action. Could be a loose clip, or a stuck float for example.

Have you checked the in and out pipes are the right way round?

Sorted just been out to it swore at it
pulled the pipe off the carbs squirting
petrol and air put thumb over the end and it stopped ,put pipe back on it ran
a little bit the stopped. must have been air locked . thanks for your help and
suggestions
