Sierra stalk with horn
Currently my horn is in an awkward place (ooer!) and I want to put it somewhere more convenient (double ooer!).
Currently I've got a Sierra stalk on the left side of the steering column, for indicators & headlight dip/flash. If I fitted the switch
unit from a Sierra that had the horn push on the end of the stalk, would it mate up with my current socket, or would I have to replace it with the one
that had the horn push?
I appreciate that some wiring would be required, but I am trying to work out how much work is involved.
I know the horn push is low-current, but it only has to drive a relay...
cheers,
David.

The indicator stalk with the horn push on the end was for the mk1 headlight wiring layout only (pin 15 instead of 31).If you've wired your car
to use the mk2 stalk/relay headlight setup then it's not just a case of putting the switch on.
On the mk1 stalk the horn is a direct switched live to the horn (pin H becomes the live horn feed when pushed) The latter setup with the horn in the
middle of the steering wheel is a simple switched earth)
