all the same

quick question going on from my earth lead question.

Just been in Halfords to source some leads. The battery is 61Ah with a 610CCA. All the leads in Halfords are the same. I take it that the type of leads Halfords sell should be suitable for almost any standard car battery as I've read on hear of peoples leads smoking etc.

Haven't a clue about amps etc just bought a battery suitable for a Sierra as that was the donor.

thanks for any assistance
Nigel

I saw those leads - my impression was they were a bit puny but I am sure they will be fine.

Take a look at vehicle wiring products - the extra flexible fat wires in pasrticular and the connectors - youo can DIY crimp them - if you are local, I can do it for you although the "tool" is not that hard to make.
