FUEL TANK SENDER (vertical float)
Anybody bought one?
Where from and how much?
My tank is one of the plastic ones from MK.
has anyone else fitted a sender to a plastic tank.

OK then,forget i even mentioned it.obviously nobody puts a fuel gauge in,i'll just dip the tank with a ruler every now and then.

Thanks chris youve restored the faith.
I will catch up with plastic tank man at the stafford opener.
The problem i had was that i've seen senders for sale £17 all the way up to £35,is cheap just cheap or good value or are the £35 ones a rip off.
Thought i'd ask the general crowd.

Do you mean a sender unit that fits into the top of the tank?
If that is what you want try a VW Beetle. I fitted one into my home made steel tank, it is completely adjustable and is just the right size for this
type of tank.
Also it fits into the bottom of your tool box under your tools realy conviently, so that you forget to mention it when leaving the scrap yard.
