radiator fan switch (really stupid question)
I have bought an in line fan switch to mate the blade engine to a clio rad. The switch operates quite low @ 90/ 85, (I'm at work, it's at
home, so can't check)
So the stupid question is, which pipe does it go in, the return or the feed. I naturally thought it was the feed but now think it might be the return
as the fan will come on as soon as the thermostat opens. As I am wiring it up when I get home this afternoon, it might be a good idea to plumb it into
the right place

It needs to go in the feed (top hose), or the fan will only switch on when it has overheated.

When thinking outside the box doesn't work any more, it's time to build a new box

ideally in the head, so put it as close to the head as you can, that way you get the most accurate reading for temperature of the engine as opposed to
temperature of the water as it gets towards the radiator.
