red electronic LED flasher relay - failure

not even had my car on the road and something has failed already.

i brought an LED electronic flasher relay a while back. its probably had no more than 1 hours constant use in total...

yesterday while cleaning up, i left the hazzards going just as a sanity / longevity check... just as well i did. after 5 mins of use, the relay decides to go wrong and now simply turns all the indicators on perm... no flashing..

anyone had any simular failure on them? cant believe they woudl go wrong only after about an hours use!!!

I didn't have any issues with mine. It's not in the car any more as I replaced it with a flasher control unit from Signal Dynamics.

How much load was connected? I think you can have a max of 20W iirc. If you have just LEDs connected you should have been ok - if you have normal bulbs ......
