Different edis modules.

Is there actually a difference between edis 3, 4 etc??

Just wondering as i have a couple of different ones sitting here.

EDIS3 - I don't believe this exists.... :p

EDIS4 refers to the 4 cylinder version 6 to the 6 cylinder version and 8 to the.... You get the idea...

All the EDIS modules are visually similar. They all use the same housing and connector is almost the same on the 4,6 and 8 cylinder versions apart from being keyed differently to prevent the modules being interchanged.

The Ford ESC module look very simmilar to the EDIS, but they have a red plastic panel on the front (with "ESC" embossed into it) and they have a vacuum connection.
