Bright6 boo boo?
I bought a bright6 for my dash a looong time ago, but it was the car version without the N but with a batt symbol.
I have a gear indicator so I figured on the car bright6 instead.
It has just occured to me that a bec might not have a batt charge light.
Not having a set of clocks, can someone confirm this?
Cheers Martin

No charge light on my R1. So that makes it a bright 5 for us BECers.

I have seen an engine warning light in the manual, perhaps this can be the equivalent?

I have just looked at the wiring diagram for both bike and car bright6 units.
Apart from the colour of the batt/N wires being different colours, it looks like the leds are wired exactly the same.
All I need to do is try and get a hold of a new transfer with the N indicator.

the 'N' has a green LED and the battery has a red one
but if that doesn't bother you - why not
you won't be able to get another transfer without another unit (they spent alot of time and cash getting them made for them - so they are just
protecting there investment)
but if you speak to them direct and ask nicely - they might swap the transfer for you (or maybe even the whole unit)

I sent them an email yesterday asking if they would sell me just the transfer.
Just waiting for their reply.
