Wiring Connector Repair
I need to repair the N75 connector on my Audi's wiring loom. The wire has snapped off flush with the connector and it's a potted type
rather than one you can remove.
I have seen a type of tool a few years ago that can be used to repair it. It's like a miniature screw that you twist down into the connector
and then allows you to resolder the wire. Anyone seen them before?
I can't find anywhere thwt sells this connector and down't want to buy a whole new section of loom really.
Any other suggestion would be handy.
Cheers

What about snipping that single wire out of both sides of the connector and inserting a separate bullet connector alongside?
Cheers,

Ah I feel your pain
How about cutting the connector back with a Dremel to expose enough bare wire to get a soldering iron onto?
Cheers,
Raz

Gogint to give that a try later, but I don't want to completely wrech the connector so will have to be carefull.

at vw we used to have a loom repair kit with terminals with lenght of
wire on them and you just cut and solder them in
worth going into any vag dealer and see if they have the kit in
