Colour coded wiring needed?
Can't find the answer on here, but does the wiring need to be colour coded for SVA? I only have red, black and white automotive wire available.
And printable wire sleeves for IDing.

Nope.
My cousin rebuilt his motorbike completely, including a full re-wire in black. He's colourblind so has to test everything he ever does at least
twice!

Not if my car is anything to go by. It looks colour coded at one end of the tunnel, but it has a different colour coding at the other end!

If it's any help, given the wide availability of different colours over here, when I start building an Epona, I intend to try and have a fully
colour coded wiring loom. Mainly because of all the faffing about I've had to do with my car. Nothing worse than not knowing what any of the
wires in a big bunch do.

Get some different coloured tapes and put a piece round every so often or use combinations to code them at the ends.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

You can get no end of colour combinations from suppliers like Premier Wiring etc. It is definitely a good idea to invest in a few metres of say 20
colours to get you started and work from there.

If you are building a loom I'd suggest opening the yellow pages and hunting out your local harness maker I found them to be 50% cheaper than
online and and bit more if you pay cash :-)
