KOSO Rev Counter
Has anybody worked out how to get the rev counter working correctly on the rsxn1,I have followed all instructions but the accuracy of the unit is
shocking,I have tried a 1M ohm resistor but this just kills the signal to the unit,I'm considering fitting the orginal bike rev conter as an
extra !!!!

Have you tried the ECU output to the tacho? That is what I am using. I tried all the other methods with no joy. I agree, the instructions are comedy!

Yeah I have tried that,I've still got it wired that way,I connected my orginal rev counter 10 mins ago and it reads perfectly,no jumping about
like the KOSO unit,On tick over my KOSO jumps all over about to 2kish yet with the orginal counter it's sitting bang on 750rpm,Looks like I will
be cutting a hole in the dash for the orginal rev counter !!!!!

Screened lead !!!! Do tell.
I thought I had nothing better to do than fit a resistor but I assume I got the wrong size.I read somewhere it's due to the fact that signal is
to strong for the KOSO unit ( 1M ohm resistor)

Have you tried changing the settings for the mangnet number/wheel circumference? When i changed it to the tacho read out, I had to play with the
settings to get it reading correctly. Don't give up - there must be a way!

nothing special... justa bit of screened cable, with screen earthed at one end, not both...(cant remember which end mines earthed)..
try it, its easily rigged, and can be put in properly if it works
