Hazards .. Again!
Hi all
hope im not boring everyone by bringing this one up again
Have got standard sierra indicator column switch gear with the hazard switch on top, the indicators and the hazard switch work fine at moment, hazards
works all the time and the indicators work with ignition on
have fitted a savage hazard switch and what i want to do is to leave indicators through the ignition switch so they only work with key in but need
hazards to work all the time
the savage switch is a double pole, if it was triple pole would not be a problem !!
has anyone done this type of set-up and can explain in simple words how to do this .... or is it far easier to have indicators feeding perminant power
all the time ??
thanks in advance

can you not just take a fly lead from the sierra hazard switch?

no, dont think so
there are something like 5-6 wires of the sierra hazard part of the switch gear

use 2 relays,1 ignition controlled and the other permanent live, then link the two circuits and protect them with diodes to stop backfeeds,
Thats how my BEC is wired but using a toggle switch for the indicator function switch not the sierra stalk
A pint for the gent and a white wine/fruit based drink for the lady. Those are the rules
