I'm doing a Locost based on a 1982 Corolla wagon. It is RWD, and has a little 4 cylinder engine that most people regard as indestructable.
Only 78hp in stock trim, but apparently more power can be made once i get it built and running with a stock engine.
I also only gave $300, and drove it 20 miles home.
