I am a long time customer of his, he has been doing work for me for over eight years. He keeps all the cctv footage As his system moniters the
coming and going of every vehicle on and off the estate, for the estate owners as well as his own premises.

Why not get him to upload the clips in question to YouTube and then post a link on here...
... I suspect that won't happen though... will it!

Yeah, we have a multi-million pound cctv system on site where I work to keep tabs on anyone and anything that comes and goes from the high security
military installation. Never known it to record everyones conversations though.......

Even better, why not ask aforementioned blokey to supply all the footage he has of the conplainants. Under the data protection act he is legally
obliged to and can only charge a maximum of £10 iirc.

Forget my last post. The conversations should never have been recorded: taken from the data protection act:
CCTV must not be used to record conversations between members of the public as this is highly intrusive and unlikely to be justified. You should
choose a system without this facility if possible. If your system comes equipped with a sound recording facility then you should turn this off or
disable it in some other way.

Beat me to it Owelly! I was just going to go into the 'Freedom of Information Act' bumf, but nature called and I was sidetracked!
Paul, you should work out all the times / dates you were in his shop and demand copies of all CCTV footage that is likely to have captured your image.
He is obliged to give you copies. You could also complain about being unlawfully sound-recorded (an allegation has been made on this website that
not only did it happen, but that the person who recorded it is willingly letting random Joe's - well Carnymouses - watch / listen to it).
Did it still happen Carnymouse... perhaps now would be the time to be absolutely sure???

morning lads i have had a think about that day i went to get my imp . i remember i had paid him half the money up front as a good will gesture and was
going to give him the other on the day i picked it up . as i did but he put it up more than we agreed . i paid the bill and felt very unhappy. it was
not done and as you can see its not nice. i don't recall any hand shake i just felt very low and just wanted to take my imp back home .and
start all over again it was meant to be a good day but as we all know it was not at all never again for me.

According to that link above,
What must a CCTV operator do?
- Make sure someone in the organisation has responsibility for the CCTV images, deciding what is recorded, how images should be used and who they
should be disclosed to;
- Notify with the Information Commissioner’s Office (check our public register);
- Have clear procedures on how to use the system and when to disclose information; and
- Make regular checks to ensure the procedures are followed.
However a basic search of the ICO turns up no hits. Have you got their postcode for a better search?

I always thuoght a forum was a place to meet like minded people with similar interests. It seems this is not the case on here.
It seems to be a part of human nature to tear another down. In our electronic world were so such content can reach millions in a day. malicious
persons feel empowered through their words whether true or not. People with alterior motives to seek revenge against another. use forums as a way to
satisfy their media seeking cravings.
It is always the case that when a business or person begins to grow and become succesful there seems to be more and more people jumping on a
bandwagon who feel they are entitled to take that person or business down. Many businesses become the target for gossip, rumours and many mythical
stories that people hype up wheather true or not which may be interesting on a national enquiry level have no merit of truth to them.
Such businesses or people up until now have had to live with it. But now there are newly enacted laws that can and will protect the ones being abused
over the internet by malicious persons.
It was once a belief that these malicious persons could pretty much say what they like from the inside of a forum whilst hiding behind a made up name
towards their targeted victim. But times have changed these new laws protect businesses or persons from these people with ill intent.
People who go to such great lengths to try to destroy a persons reputation or business and enjoy what they are doing surely have emotional or mental
issues.
Malicious cyber bullies are always in love with their written accomplishments. These people are incapable of sustaining relationships with others
outside of the internet so it is of upmost importance they establish friendships inside of forums where they can have shallow friendships if only
briefly.
For this reason i am out of here.

your one of the very few who leave this forum due to this sort of thing.most are friendly on here. i dont know the guy at mb customs and have never
had anything to do with him. but whoever made that item for imp paul should advertise it on there web-site to let customers know what there work is
like. that way we wont need to slag his work off cos he will be out of business due to lack of customers.

True,i only came on here by pure chance when i saw a previous thread about a plenum chamber built by the company im having a dispute with, i saw it
and hoped i could get a statement from him. Im not bothered who still uses MB Customs as thats their choice, im hoping to see if anyone else has had
issues so we could help each other, but instead ive found myself having to defend against those who seem to disbelieve me, i didnt really want to dig
my crap up and stick it on here as i was going to speak with people on a u2u basis or email or a phone call but questions come up and some i didnt
like.
Im not a kit car builder and its a million to 1 chance of me coming on here, i am a British Supermoto rider and have found myself out of pocket after
seeing my bike being blown up serveral times on his dyno and now although im still the legal owner of an R1 hes sold it as he says to recoupe his
costs! this bike has had over 8 grand spent on it, ive paid for loads of parts and never seen any of them and ive been charged near on 6 grand storage
when i disputed his workmanship, my race bike was taken to a specialist who rebuilt the bike in 9 weeks when mb had my bike 2 and half years, this
bike stands me in at over 16 grand, this bikes build should have cost about 12 grand, so you see why im a bit pissed.

LOL
I was entirely expecting to either not hear from you again on these shores, or for there to be some sort of vague reply announcing your departure.
And lo... here we have it!
Let me make it clear... we are a pretty decent bunch on here and most of us accept that there is always two sides to a story and that the truth is
only really known by those parties involved. What riles people up though is when someone appears from absolutely nowhere and posts highly dubious
messages seeking to 'redress the balance'. You've been challenged on your SHOUTY messages alleging that an established forum member
has been lying to us all and you've not come up with anything to back it up! I would say that your've been found out and that your
actions have caused more harm to MB's reputation than anything posted by Paul.
