The main engine earth point on your engine should be next to the oil breather pipe on top of the gear box casing. It may just look like a tapped hole
if its not being used at the minute. I would take a -ve lead to this straight from the battery from here. Although if your engine is turning over
I'am not sure if earthing is your main problem.

Checked all the earth's no probs there.
Just ordered a new pulsing coil, been told by a bikeshop 'leccy' they are fragile and prone to breaking down.Not to bad only £35+vat new,
Just another piece in the puzzle???
If it doesn't fit MODIFY it!!

Well, any luck yet, by the way did you bridge the clutch switch, i have done on mine, but have'nt tried it yet.

If it wasn't for bad luck i'd have none at all
Yes bridged the clutch switch(another way to do it is earth the green/black wire that goes from cdi to junction box)this also defeats sidestand switch
If it doesn't fit MODIFY it!!

Replaced the pulsing coil, and NOTHING Really getting annoyed now,still no spark
Ideas anyone,anyone want to have a look?

im devastated for you bri, wish i was closer to have a look at it All i can suggest is start at the top, read the diagram and follow every wire. I
bet its a simple oversight or a loose connection. You sure the cdi isnt cooked?

I managed to get another cdi, also replaced the wiring harness. Needs some fresh ideas?

what about the starter relay, or any fuses, bike and car looms, do you have the zx9r wiring diagram.
