Finishing the car this winter.
Next winter will be the Willwood brake upgrade, and the Quaife diff, and the ARB, and the flatshifter, and the shift solenoid, and the Rotrex
supercharger...
In my dreams

Wire brush and paint any rusty bits, design a new rear cover and box, decide whether or not to try and source/change the diff, stop the garage door
leaking...

I am hoping that now summer has gone the weather will improve or at least stop raining so that I can use my car. The last two summers have been pants
so I intend to use it all winter then upgrade in the rainy summer next year. A cunning plan. Maybe.

Bring on the late summer, and if you insist i've got the bodywork to refresh after 25000 miles

The less I worked, the more i liked it.

The winter would be to short,
-Building a new EFI manifold
-Alu fuel tank
- new and better rear and side panels
- re-position the front blinkers
- bonnet without airscoop but wit nice louvers
-deeper bucket seats
- interior carpet
- alu airbox
- painting the bodywork
- fitting some nice BBS Lemans (replica’s)
------------------------------
I have not failed once. I have successfully found ways that will not work!

Would like to get some raceleda front uprights and some wilwood or similar billet brakes....
And go from vented to solid at the front - god knows why I put them on in the first place!

Having spent most of the summer months repairing the Indy, we'll be doing nothing to it whatsoever over the winter. Unless I slam it into the
tyre wall again on another trackday...

Just a quick heads up to the schizophrenic Team Hellfire, the rumor is that we are heading back to Teesside for a final trackday of the year. Some
time in October. Will keep you posted with the details.

Cheers Mike. It'd be good to get back to Teeside on a trackday and see if the mods we've made have improved the handling or not. Keep us
posted.

SORN or not?
Do many keep their Locost on the road over winter?
My tax expires at the end of Sept and I am loathed to SORN it for the sake of £120. Given the bizarre climate, are we more likely to get dry/fine days
during the winter (albeit cold) than we did during the summer.

Not! I keep mine taxed 365 days a year, as I love blatting in winter! Cold, crisp, dry mornings are the best!

I find the winter driving most enjoyable! Not too many dithering sightseers on the road, the engine runs sweetly in the cold air, and zooming along
on a crisp sunny day is just perfect.
The only down-side is that I can't find a way to keep my hands warm - I've tried many solutions, including electrically heated gloves
(albeit not very good ones), but the best I've found so far has been a pair of 'lobster claw'/'Doctor Spock live long and
prosper' mitts... warmish but clumsy. A bit like these...
