Reversing Light

I'm hoping someone can confirm that I don't HAVE to have a reversing light.

I was planning to leave it off - it's just extra weight.

you didnt ask that!

you need a rear fog

must be at least 250mm from the ground, towards drivers side and not more than half way across car (ie not on passenger side)

must also be at 90 deg from ground

But if you having a rear fog (have to have) you might aswell even it up with a reversing light on the otherside.... might look odd otherwise

I don't have to have fog lights, so am thinking of using two reverse lights.

A little something for tailgaters.

Alas, I missed that one. I can only consume about 2% of the visual chewing gum that comes out of Hollywood

Know what you mean, though. How did that get by the studio logician???

Oh, that's right, they don't have one.

Saw 'Pirates of the Caribbean' recently. It had a bunch of script flaws in it, one of the most notable being an escape from the stern quarters of a sailing ship by descending a bedsheet rope into a waiting untethered rowboat. Where'd the boat come from??

A favorite bad movie plot device is what I call the 'rabbit out of the hat' ending. commonly used in budget detective stories. This is where you learn that the murderer was a crazed Albanian dwarf who was insulted by the victim during a secret honeymoon trip, which is briefly mentioned in a telephone conversation at the very beginning of the movie

Don't mention the Albanians. The BBC had to apologise to them because Jo Brand (British female? comic?) offered to fart their National Anthem recently. They'll be onto you for one as well.. Plus you might get a letter from lunatic and dwarf minority groups.

yours, Pete.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

As OT as can be

Shee-It!

Is there any group that's not protected by PC any more?

OK then, scratch the dwarf. The villain will be... a white American Republican!

I think I can safely say that no one in the world will be offended by this choice of target.

I take offense at your choice of target.

I am yet to decide why.

Extra weight??? your are kidding right?? go on tell me you are kidding..a reversing light must weigh the same as a very little bag of very light things. I can understand if you didn't want to fit one because of the hassle or because you don't like the look of it but to save weight?????
Tim.

I didnt fit one for exactly that reason. Its not *just* the light, but the wiring and possibly the switch too. OK, So it aint gonna add up to much, but every little helps.......

No, I aint kidding. Its easier than dieting....

Dont just build it.....make it!
