Its a head shaker Ford are putting their new car prices up .... what when they can't sell them and with government hand outs ..... cheeeeeeky basta8DS

Sadly predictable - as the number of units you sell drops, the cost per unit goes up ....

Couldnt agree more.

Seems like an odd decision until you look at it from a business perspective.

There is a limit to how cheap you can sell a product and still make a reasonable (worthwhile) profit especially if sales are alreay low.

If sales are high prices come down, sales are low prices go up.

i work in a dealership and we are sellin loads,and secound hand stock is getting hard to find.The last few months cars are going up the garage guides.

I know somwbody who tried to buy a new fiesta and was told there was a 3 month waiting list as demand had went up since the scrappage scheme started

Ordered a new Fiesta for the other half last week in May and was told it could be September before she gets it . Should get it at the price agreed in May and the scrappage allowance on my old Citroen XM that cost me £350 . thirteen years ago
