wiring loom

Hi,
does anyone know of a good place to get a basic lighting and ignition loom from for a seven??
I had found a company called Basic Loom which had the perfect loom for £110 but they seem to have dissappeared now
So am in need of a loom to run my Carbed engine car with just basic bits in as my current loom is useless.
thanks in advance

I've spent hundreds on wires and connectors, when it would have been nice to get a whole loom and not just part of one.

I also have one of Alan's sierra - based looms. Very impressed - he will want details of your column switches so he sends you the most ideal set up.

Great guy to deal with - loom is very easy to understand - lots of details sent with it to help, too.

Good luck, and keep the smoke in your wires!

Best £110 i spent on my car was the premier wiring loom, as said alan is a top guy very helpfull too. If the loom has only gone up £10 to £120 in 7 years i would say thats a bargain.

I spliced my switchgear wires to the plugs i had on my column switches, worth asking alan if he still does the service of fitting your connectors before he sends the loom. He used to do this service and it makes the loom literaly plug and play.(you just need to post your switchgear connectors to him)

One nice touch is when i decided to fit the screen and wipers the loom is already wired to take the relay for intermitant wipe, its a brilliant piece of kit with plenty of length on the wires too.

Does the premier loom come with all the relays fitted, or do I need to buy these aswell?

Cheers

Hi guys, i ordered a sierra based loom from premier wiring and after a week or so i got it. I am very happy with it but the problem i have now is that i need an invoice for it but Alan seems to ingnore all my emails. I couldn't reach them on the phone - it gives me a busy tone all the time. Would you give me an advice what should i do because i need that invoice as soon as possible. I put it in paypal as a note with all my company details (and a couple of times after that as an email) and he put me in the package just the paypal transaction details, which is very far from invoice.
Please advice.
Thanks in advance
Yavor

HI, yes we have some sort of test which we hold in a lab called "technotest". The issue here is that we do not have such thing as a kit cars and there are not very clear rules how the test should go. There is only one robin hood 2B but it came with the plates from UK and it had been difficult even that way to pass. Technotest lab is only one and ... it is actually private one. Some say it is very corrupted, and the battle for register my car will be hard. So fingers crossed)

that sounds dodgy! if you couple that with the stories I've heard about the availability of even the basic items in the shops......and I thought we had problems in the UK!
