non runner scooter et2 help ?
hi all
im doing my bro a faver trying to sort his scooter out.
we needed to fit a new exhaust which was rotten along wth the studs that hold it in.
took engine out removed the studs engine back in new exhaust.
problem now is it wont run (it did before)we took the engine out!! ive checked everything we took of all ok
got spark,got fuel entering float bowl and i got comression she will start and run sometimes for about 5 secs then die.
new plug and done gap
cleadned carb and jets cleadned float valve.im just stucj now.any body worked on two stroke scooters before ??

when you say you get fuel into the float bowl, do you get a continous supply or is it filling the bowl once only on intial start up procedure? sounds
to me that you,ve disturbed something , kinked fuel line possibly?
have you had the carb apart? (float sticking)

oops ...yes you,ve cleaned the carb, i,ll bet you,ve either screwed the needles in the wrong holes( don,t know what scooter it is) or the float itself
is sticking with being taken apart etc.
