Mazda 323 no spark????

got a friends mazda 323 1.5 16v sat on my drive and i cant get it to start, The engine turns over, we have fuel getting through, the rotor arm is fine and the dizzy cap is in good nick. it is some thing electrical. the car was running and he was driving it and it just died on him.

Any ideas?

immobiliser maybe ?

it has an alrm fitted, i have traced the wires i can only find one immobiliser point which i have bypassed. will have another check to see if there is a second but i cant see one. will do a search for the alarm make and model to see if it has 1 or 2 cut off points.

i dont know anything about the 323 but with the symptoms you mention it does sound like an alarm/immob might be at fault somewhere.
