Help needed to get rear light pods
Hi,
Since no one makes my car anymore I can't get the original rear light units. What I'm needing is something like these to fit on the
Falcons wings, perhaps off another car type, tbh can't think what. Obviously modern lamp units would look stupid.
any idea's? Thanks

what do you need? the lights, or the black plastic bits they fit to? or both? lights look like the landrover ones
if you need the black plastic things too, what about these

like you say the lights are landy ones, no what I need is the lamp pods (or something like them) so they don't point at the sky. Sorry for not
making it clear...

cheers Blake but those are a bit modern for such a bygone jalopy as I don’t think they had carbon fibre in the 1930’s and unfortunately the single
lamp units are not angled enough for my wings good try though
I have brand new beetle lamps but the lamp mounting has a funny angle as it goes round the bugs wings and so won’t sit on a single curve panel, was a
bit pee’d off when I found that out as I’d bough them for the Falcon

what have you got on at the moment?
have you got something that can be copied? plenty of fibreglass types on here
as for the carbon, you could always paint them

Actually I’ve got absolutely nothing as some sod pinched them when I left them outside the garage one night for the paint to dry!
Worst case I might make some new ones but time is tight just now and I'd rather not spend it making parts tbh. Would be a nice how to though I
suppose

Build them out of MDF and dip coat them in PU varnish a couple of times?
Make an MDF pattern and have a techy teacher cast them from pot aluminium for you.

Make an MDF pattern and glue that straight on!
We're talking the bit that holds the lens onto the wings?
