How do I tell if my 5VY R1 has an immobiliser?

I have heard a lot of talk about the R1 5VY immob, how do I tell if mine has one? I can't find any info about it on the wiring diagram, there is a small box next to the keyswitch which I'm thinking could be it?

Thanks Malc

I presume that means, either keeping the keyswitch hidden somewhere (transponder in key?) or getting a US ECU?

I used a U.S donor 2006 R1 for my car. Can confirm that it doesn't have the yamaha immobiliser and there are 2 big wires, and 2 small wires on the ignition. I used the full original loom including the ignition switch
