^ I think the ECUs are resonably priced on there own, but £400 ish for a loom takes the pee, i'm thinking i will make my own.

Some ecu's are upgradable with a software re flash.

My Dunnell clubmans was re flashed and serviced. It came with an unfinished loom and the tps and cost me £240 ish Not cheap but cheaper than a fresh ecu.

Looking at the sbd website yours could well be upgradable. I would give them a ring and ask.

Check the SBD website, but IIRC the 956 is out of date i may be wrong, somebody on here asked about one a while back and i tried to advise him not to buy it, he did, and sold it again quickly.

yes the 956 is the one before the 967--was talked into the 967 by sdb when i phoned them to ask about a base/safe/retarded map--it was going so well until the price popped into the conversation--like someone mentioned-the ecu is not a bad price-its when you add the connector/loom to it that it gets a bit um pricey

right ive got a brand new unused 967ef mbe with injection loom and coms lead-but am going to keep my 45s--do i have to put a different map-ie ignition only map into the ecu or can i use the injection map (has it a ignition only mode?).The chap i bought it from told me the map is a tp205 map and the ecu/loom was from a 208 kit .
