Indicator warning light
Looking for ideas for a minor problem on my MK (recent purchase). I have a single indicator warning light on my dash. When I indicate right it comes
on, when I indicate left it stays off! Indicators themselves work fine. Any thoughts on where to look? It is switchgear from a Sierra.

Welcome, Bass1st.
The implication is that the W/L is wired between the right-side lights and ground whereas it should be wired between left-side and right-side
lights.
Have a look at this thread.

is it a filament bulb or replaced by LED bulb?
latter, if wiring is similar to my Land Rover will not work correctly, and IIRC, like yours,

May need diodes to use led. Pm me if you want more detail. Try search first. Good luck. Don't let it get to you like it did me. I have seen the
light now.

My car uses a single LED. Is it worth trying a bulb?

If you run it from L to R through the bulb and everything works, you can either use another bulb, or go LED and use the diodes.

Ah well, if it's an LED then it will only work as you say...turn it round and it will only work when you indicate L.
Try a filament W/L in parallel with it.
Or add two diodes and ground the existing LED.

Finally got around to looking at this!! Swapped the led for a standard bulb and it now works in both directions.
