gauges not working

Speedo, tacho, oil press, water temp, fuel level. None of these seem to work. The fuel gauge worked for a few minutes at full on with about 1/8 of a tank; in other words it overread considerably, and got stuck at full. I reversed the wires and it went to nothing, where it remains.

Is it possible that the gauges are broken (as was the voltmeter from the same set: Hoffman Group, Aurora), or that the senders are not compatible?

I have had no joy whatsoever from the tacho, and I found the correct wire to the ECU to attach it to, as well as the earths etc to the gauge as per the instructions.
No numbers show on the speedo either, and the water and oil temp show no joy.

This is the only thing holding up my build!!!! I have a hatred for these gauges, although they look cool. Yes, I followed the instructions to the letter.

I wouldnt think all of them would have been broken if brand new, are you sure they have been wired correctly and as you say are the senders compatible. Think you need to contact the supplier

No longer in business as a distributor unfortunately. That's why I am leaning towards ditching them for a cheap Vapor or something for now. Only really need a speedo to get me through the test.

Nevermind. Got the speedo working, and that's all I care about at the moment. Thanks though!

don't know whether it's the same for IVA but for SVA a fuel gauge wasn't a requirement, mine was outside exemption zone and failed on radii was advised best method was to remove it and blank the hole off

Thankfully, a lot of your things don't apply. I should be OK with just the speedo for now.
