marker lights question

Do these go on with the headlights? I have successfully wired the indicators, hazards and headlights, and totally forgot about the other lighting that goes on with the headlights. This wiring is like a nightmare that won't end.

Please don't mention Sierra: I've never even seen one of those, and have no idea what their switches are.

Thanks again. Soon I will stop asking questions as I hope to be done very soon.

We don't use marker lights in the UK. I think that as these are also refered to as running lights they should come on with the ignition, so take an ignition live feed for the relay

Although it's not relevant to you, 'marker lights' is pretty close to the description in the IVA manual, which is 'position lights' or similar IIRC.

Most people in the UK call them sidelights. Here we have to be able to turn them on without the headlights if necessary, so that they can be used to show where you are when parked on an unlit road (hence the 'position lights' name).
