think you'll struggle to get all 3 in one. i've got hella 90mm lights. they only do dip and main in one, or dip and sidelight on one with seperate main i think

HIDs will need to be self levelling and have a washer system

I'd recommend SVC for all your lighting requirements. They aren't the cheapest out there but you get superb value for money and customer service is second to none. Steve couldn't be more helpful. Give him a call, if only to pick his brains on what's currently available on the market. He has his finger on the pulse and will give you honest, unbiased advice.

dunno why, but HID lights have to be fitted with self adjusters and wahser systems. its the law lol

my lights are from SVC, but i don't know how easily you could fit to a 7. russbost sells tiny little lights too. might be worth asking him?

what about all the bulbs for sale everywhere to convert over to hid i dont see how they are any different to halogen. our old civic on a 06 plate had hids and no washer system fitted it did have auto self level though. our accord on the other hand has both but its on a 04 plate go figure that one out. i will have an ask at the garage tomo and see what the inspector has to say. will give russ boss a pm.
phil already ha a look at svc and the only ones they list with the side dip and main on are aval i dont really like the look of these on a seven though, will give him a bell tomo see whats about.

i don't make the laws

quote:

2. Once fitted to the vehicle it must have headlamp cleaning and self-levelling (which can be for the headlamp or can be in the vehicle suspension - some expensive estate cars have "self-levelling suspension" and that is adequate). Also the dipped beam must stay on with the main beam.

having read that and between the lines in places it seems you cant do it but they have no real way of checking or enforcing it unless its really out of line then youd get a tug from the fuzz anyway.

Thought my ears were burning!
Dominator basemounts are 105mm which is PDC to 4", they do side, dip & main & have a halogen 55/60 W bulb, which can obviously be swapped for a Xenon bulb if you want blue tint. There are loads of HID conversions around, but I believe all of them mess with the beam pattern at least to some extent as the filaments are in different positions for dip/main in an ordinary bulb.

I thought, tho' stand to be corrected, that the self levelling/wash/wipe was only an IVA requirement??? I'm sure it doesn't come into MoT & can't see it being a construction & use requirement, hence as an aftermarket fit I don't see anything to stop you. Have to say I don't fancy them myself, I had original equipment HID's on my Laguna & they were more trouble than they were worth - I've swapped back to ordinary bulbs.

I can do a combined dip/main beam projector lamp which is even smaller (50mm lens) but they are a lot dearer.

Sidelights are a mot requirement.

SVC are currently selling the dominators for roughly double what I charge!

& their 90mm projector is most certainly NOT the smallest road legal headlamp that does dip & main - mine is
Surprise surprise theirs is not only bulkier it's substantially dearer!

edited to say I've not seen that government doc b4 what a load of cr*p, how would they ever enforce that! we don't have any police on the roads any more & you can't enforce that with a camera!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
