Oil Pressure Light Wiring Query.

Hi,

On my new acewell there is an option to have ab oil pressure warnig light with one wire.

On my loom the oil pressure light I have on my loom I have 2 wires connecting to the oil light. - I am assuming one is just an earth? and one is the 12v feed.
So would I be right is assuming that I can connect the 12v fed to the light on the acewell and isolate the other wire as its only an earth.

Does this make sense or am I missing something?

Thanks

Frank

The oil pressure switch is what does the grounding, so the lamp will need an ignition switched +ve supply on one side, and be grounded via the pressure switch on the other.
