coil??? having a blonde moment...

hi all...

i have a points distributor on my 2.0 pinto but how do i wire it?

do i wire a +12vlt ignition feed to the posotive side of the coil +12ve and fix the wire that comes from the dizzy to the -12ve???

and does anyone know the points gap and do i set the gap when the point sare on there highest dwell point (closed)?

+12V to the (+) side of the coil, and the (-) side to the distributor, if the car is wired negative earth.

Points .014" to .016" when open (ie on the lobe of the dist cam).
