indicators and warning lights
ive done and double checked all the "hidden" wiring for my indicators and driving lights, i.e. connected up the sierra switches to the
relevant relays and fuseboxes.
when I operate the switches the attached relays click. i.e. main/dip and hazard switch relays all seem to be working as they should. Although the
hazard switch relay only clicks once not tiktoktiktok
my bright six warning lights dont work properly though. I have given them an earth and connected all the individual lights to the corresponding +ve
circuits. The ignition lamp works fine but the dip/main beam lights dont illuminate and the indicator lights are always on unless im in the final
position on the key or depress the hazard switch.
can anyone give any suggestions where to start looking for a problem. I presume this stuff should work without indicators and driving lights actually
fitted?

Don't think the indicator relays will click unless lights fitted
I'm addicted to brake fluid, but I can stop anytime.

Correct in most cases, correct load needed for operation

Agree with that.
If no load then just tic form indicator or hazard relay unless of course you have some but not all the lamps fitted then it runs at double speed
IIRC doesnt the bright 6 need its own +ve supply as well as the signal +ve. I could be wrong its nearly a year since I wired mine

got the relay working properly now,
but my bright-6 indicator lights dont light up at all!
it has a master switched live power, a master earth and then the +ve wires from all the warning light "pairs" from my loom attached.
(pairs because my loom was designed to accept individual bulbs).

is one of the "pairs" the earth for the individual light?
Just a thought

yes it is, the other wire that is not connected is the earth for each lamp.
i figured because they all shared a common earth they didnt need to be connected?
the indicators did light before I fitted the repeaters as in my first post and the ignition warning lamp works as it should so they can definitely get
power in certain circumstances..
