How much current does a fuel pump draw?
Anyone know roughly how much current a fuel injection pump will draw? It's a standard vauxhall astra type one. Just trying to work out if the
wiring I have in place is man enough for the job!
Cheers

Not sure how much that actual pump will draw but fuel pump circuit is normally fused at 10amps.

I think that my bike engine pump is running via a 5A fuse...

My walbro GSL392 says the supply should be fused with a 20A fuse.....
That said, I always ran my old pumps both off a 10A fuse with no problem.

Standard Kawasaki engined Kawasaki pumped fuel pump runs a 10A Fuse. Same as fitted on the bike.
