Led indicators
I am in the process of changing my back lights for LED units.
I got the first indicator wired up and i thought i would give it a try to compare it to the standard unit. The indicator flashed twice as fast as it
should.
Is this down to the fact that LEDs use less power than bulbs, if so how can resolve this problem.
Thanks in advance.
Brad.

Or a resistor wired in parallel - 10 Ohm, 50w mounted on some ally to act as a heatsink.

almost off topic, but as you seem to be getting a little snow over there, we have noticed on lorries with led's there is not enough heat
generated to clear the snow off the lights.

I bought a flasher relay for LED's from ebay, £10, its a timed relay so flashes at the right speed whatever bulbs you have.
