Pinto Dizzy - Lumenition - Carb question

I currently have the ford electronic dizzy on my pinto with the small carb and elec choke/manifold heater etc using the big ecu, y'know the one from a sierra.

I'm wondering though if it would be worth it to swap to a 32/36 DGAV from a 3.0 capri on my standard manifold and use lumenition. This would mean dumping a load of wiring out of the engine bay and generally tidying it up a bit along with a little extra power.

I have a lumenition here, and also 2 old points dizzys which look like pinto ones but I'm not sure, but they are both knackered in the bearing department and incomplete.

Is it worth swapping for the capri carb and dizzy setup? or just swap the carb and use the ford ecu and dizzy just leaving out the carb connections, or just wire it all up and leave it on the standard carb/ignition. Looks like it would cost about £40-£50 for a carb, plus the same again for a points dizzy if required.

Any advice much appreciated, ta
