Zetec/Acewell temperature

Morning Guys,
I have a 1.8 blacktop from a mondeo, does anyone know if the sensor from an acewell will fit into the thermostat housing. IIRC the sensor in the bottom is for the guage and the one on the top is for the ECU?

Cheers Jas

The sensors normally sent out with Acewells up until now have been M10 x 1.0, however this is so close to 1/8 x 27 NPT that providing you use a bit of thread tape because it's a tapered thread they will go in & seal perfectly. I've been told that from the next batch onwards they'll be sent with the 1/8 27 npt thread as standard - I've been told that b4 tho'!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
