Motorcycle HT leads
I need to buy a new set of HT leads for the Blackbird Engine with markings for IVA retest, apart from going to Mr Honda rip off shop can anyone
recommend a replacement supplier or an uprated lead supplier that will sell them?
I'm assuming Halfords dont do bike leads?
Cheers
Ash.

What are the requirements for HT lead markings?? I was going to use the std Ford ones on my Zetec when it's test time.....are these no good
either?
Cheers,
Matt
PS - I will also be using Leighton Buzzard test centre so was interested in your post.

I was passed (SVA) at Leighton Buzzard with after market "Taylor" leads.

I don't think they made specific note. I had a brochure with me, which had some bunkum on their spiral design being shielded or somthing. This
was Doug, but I am not sure he is still there. Those guys are rigorous on sharp edges.

I think that they like to see British Standard or equivalent numbering written on the leads (most OEM ones do have this).

Hi Matt,
Yes it was Doug who tested me and yes they like their edges, thankfully most of mine were Ok.
I'll pop down to PDQ as there just down the road from my office
Cheers
Ash.
