Micro Relay connections Help
Hi I am using the modular fuse & relay system from Polevolt and I need to know what pin does what on the micro relays.
I have not ordered the relays yet but want to wire up the bases. Polevolt must not be open this morning (Sat) as I have tried to ring them.
Pins are ............
................................
. s1
.
. s2 ........ L1.......L2
.
. s3
................................
Where s1, s2 & s3 are the small contacts and L1 L2 are the large contacts
Now I think L1 & L2 are the coil & it dont matter which way round they are connected.
and I think s1 & s3 are the normally open contacts, not sure which is the common.
Can anyone confirm or rubish this ?
The relays I am using are Micro relay polevolt part number 2842R
Cheers RD

Unknown - but with a meter you can find out...
It states Normally Open contacts.
The coil will have continuity and a higher resistance than the contacts ( which should have very low resistance.

Cheers Seabass that confirms what I have found too.
I was total wrong with my guess
Off back to garage....... one of these days I will sort a PC out for in there. Then SWMBO will never see me
